Welcome to Story Mapz, a family-run business founded by John, who brings over 25 years of experience in wooden toy-making and design. Located in the beautiful beach town of Byron Bay, NSW, Australia, we specialize in bespoke 3D laser-cut wooden maps and pictures crafted with meticulous attention to detail.
John's love for maps and the ocean, developed during his decade working on ships as a young man and then a life of travel before settling and raising his son Marley in the hinterland of the Byronshire.

100% Australian made our 3D maps are crafted with laser cutting technology for precise detail and quality. Made from sustainable quality FSC-approved pine plywood, our maps support responsible forestry practices. Each map is approximately 30cm x 30cm and comes in a white or black glass-covered frame, measuring 34cm x 34cm.
